Should kids learn cursive?

Cynthia Fabian

Other countries are still teaching cursive writing, yet, we are questioning whether or not our kids should learn it.

Yes, research supports learning cursive for several benefits, including improved fine motor skills, better retention and comprehension, increased brain activity, and the ability to read historical documents.

While some argue cursive is less practical today, learning it can still boost brain development and provide a unique form of personal expression.

While what is hard is not impossible, it is just challenging.
